Butoh-fu
This is a dace about the god Maya. (This is about daydreams, about a ephemeral price made oly of smoke.) There is a boy surveyig the lad. The lies that are beig surveyed by the boy eter the boy’s body ad accumulates iside his body as a budle of thi lies. Those lies become very thi, like lies of light.
The lies trasform themselves ito a leopard made oly of light o its back, like the paitig by Toye. (The leopard has a heavy face. It is aware of the shadows that evelop his belly, i cotrast to the light shiig o its back.)
The leopard the becomes a peacock oly made of erves, ad the suddely trasforms back ito the origial leopard. The leopard, as if stadig up i the form of the peacock, fids he has become the price of Maya. The price of Maya, usig the joits of his arms ad legs, retreats ito the backgrouds. He the stops. Suddely he trasforms himself ito several wome made oly of blue smoke. (The price is oly dreamig about these wome.) The price slowly starts squattig. He the reverts to the form of the price of Maya. He is suddely aware of a crow o his head. The threads beig pulled by his figers are suddely cut. The momet the pieces of thread are cut, there is a rooster’s crest o his head.
There are two lies of thread, made of erves, that grow out from behid his ears, straight ito space. The lies become three costumes, like i the paitig by Marie Toye.
A heavy eck ad heavy piece of flesh appear iside the vaccum of the three costumes made of light. The weight siks the thig dow, ow made oly of a heavy eck ad heavy flesh. Beeath this heavy thig, a flower blooms. Two erves grow out of the flower, splits i the middle, ad become like the Yajirobei Japaese balacig toy. The etire body, all flowers, all balacig toy, all flesh ad eck, are ow beig plastered ito a wall. The plastered thig is trasformed ito a crow i the sow, like i the drawig by Buso Yosa.
The secod crow becomes a etirely differet crow. The secod crow becomes trapped i darkess as depicted i a paitig of darkess by Fracisco Goya. Whe the crow steps out of this darkess, it has become a stuffed crow. The stuffed crow melts ito the air ad fially becomes somethig much like the air ito which it dissolves. Fially it becomes that very air which has dissolved it.
